The FW&PCOA has been providing the voluntary certification of wastewater collection system operators since 1981. These courses are taught by experienced system operators and wastewater industry professionals in a live classroom setting. The association grants certification step-wise, starting at Level 3 and progressing to Level 1.
The Level 3 course examines the basic concepts of a wastewater collection system, including wastewater system inspecting and testing, safe procedures, lift station and equipment maintenance, pipeline cleaning and maintenance, pipeline repair and rehabilitation, and wastewater math. Course books are included in this 30-hour course.
All receipts, confirmations, scores, and certificates will be sent via email. If you register using a utility email address, please ensure that your IT department permits emails from both Club Express and Virtual Badge.
