FW&PCOA
2026 Spring Short School
All receipts, confirmations, scores, and certificates will be sent via email. If you register using a utility email address, please ensure that your IT department permits emails from both Club Express and Virtual Badge.
After registering online, students will receive course applications
(only required for Stormwater, Wastewater Collection, Reclaimed Water Distribution and Utility Maintenance courses)
via email from the FWPCOA training office. If the email is not received, please contact memfwpcoa@gmail.com without delay. To prevent any hold-ups in obtaining your course results and/or certification, make sure to complete and submit the application with the required payment before the start of the class.
All Books are included with tuition.

Backflow Tester Certification
Details:
The Backflow Tester course includes classroom instruction and hands-on training that utilizes a backflow prevention assembly wet lab where students will field test a double check assembly, reduced pressure principle assembly, and pressure vacuum breaker. This course is 32 hours in length and includes the course manual published by the FW&PCOA. (DW/DS/WW02014006, 3.2 CEU)

Facility Management
Details:
The Facility Management course is taught by experienced water industry professionals, and meet the core subject area requirements of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Operator Knowledge Base Manual, providing the training required by rule for the Florida water and wastewater treatment plant operator level A examinations.
